A program on a client’s list and a program template are removed in different places.
If you want to remove a program from a client
1 Open Programs → Manage Programs, select the client, and open the program list.
2 On the program row, open the actions menu and choose Delete. That option is available only while the program is Assigned or In Progress, and only for an Administrator, a user with High Level Access, or a Teacher.
3 Confirm with Yes. The dialog asks “Are you sure you want to DELETE this program?” and requires Observation Notes.
The program is marked Deleted. It is not erased. It drops off the list as long as that list still has at least one program that is not deleted. If it was the only program on the list, it stays visible with status Deleted.
Delete is not offered for a program that is Discontinued, Mastered, or in Maintenance. A discontinued program has to be reopened first (that puts it back In Progress); then it can be deleted. A mastered or maintenance program cannot be deleted from this screen.
If you want to remove a program template
1 Open Programs → Program Templates.
2 On the template row, open the actions menu and choose Remove/Archive. That option is available only to an Administrator or a Curriculum Manager.
3 Confirm with Yes. The dialog says the template will be archived instead of deleted if any client data is linked to it.
- If no client has that program and it is not used in an assessment mapping, the template is deleted.
- If a client assignment or an assessment mapping exists, the template is archived, and every assignment of that template is archived as well.
