Account Usage Dashboard — User Guide
Purpose
The Account Usage Dashboard helps center administrators review monthly usage of clients and users : how many are active or inactive over time, cumulative totals for the selected billing period, and a daily activity list you can export to Excel.
These figures relate to center billing (active accounts in your subscription). Use the dashboard to see how client and user changes line up with what is counted in each period.
Who can access it
Only roles your organization enables for billing dashboards (typically Account Owner and Account Manager ) can open this screen. If you do not see Dashboards → Account Usage Dashboard (or a similarly named item), ask your administrator to grant access.
Opening the dashboard
- Sign in to UnitusTI.
- Open Dashboards (or the menu where your center lists dashboards).
- Choose Account Usage Dashboard (it may also appear as Center Usage ).

Selecting the billing period
- The period is shown as a year and month (for example November 2026).
- Use the arrows to move to an earlier or later available month.
- Below the period name you see the start and end dates of that billing month for your center.
- First day of the month: If today is the 1st , you may only see completed months; the current month might not appear yet. Pick the latest available month for the most recent usage.
Clients tab
Show archived clients
Use the Show archived option:
- When on , the chart shows archived clients as bars below the zero line so you can see removals without mixing them into active counts.
- When off , that extra series is hidden.
Chart (clients)
- Horizontal axis: Day of month (1–31).
- Stacked bars (each day):
- Active clients — count for that day.
- Inactive clients — count for that day.
- Purple line: Cumulative active clients from the start of the month through each day.
Interactions:
- Click a bar segment (active or inactive) to select that day and show active or inactive clients for that day in the table.
- Click a dot on the purple line to select that day and show the cumulative active view in the table (everyone counted as active from the start of the period through that date).
Summary cards (clients)
For the focus date (see below), you may see five cards:
Card |
Meaning |
Cumulative active to this day |
Active clients counted from the start of the period through this date. |
Active on this day |
Snapshot for that calendar day. |
Inactive on this day |
Snapshot for that day. |
Archived on this day |
Snapshot for that day. |
All clients |
Active, inactive, and archived added together for that day. |
Click a card to filter the table to match that metric. The highlighted card shows the current filter.
Client detail table
- Show only this period changes — limits the list to meaningful status changes in the period, hiding routine period markers so the list is easier to read.
- Export — downloads a spreadsheet of the rows you see (after filters).
- Name links may open more history for that client, if your system provides a detail window.
Users tab
Chart (users)
- Stacked bars:
- Active users — count for that day.
- Inactive users — count for that day.
- Purple line: Cumulative active users through each day. Dots on this line are clickable; use them to pick a day and show the cumulative active list in the table.
- Orange line: Cumulative inactive users — helps you see trends; only the purple line has clickable dots in the current product.
Interactions:
- Click an active or inactive bar segment to select that day and filter the table to active or inactive users for that day.
- Click a purple line dot to select cumulative active through that day (the table switches to the cumulative list).
Summary cards (users)
For the focus date:
Card |
Meaning |
Cumulative active (period to date) |
Active users counted from the start of the period through this date. |
Cumulative inactive (period to date) |
Inactive users counted over the same span. |
Active on this day |
Snapshot for that day. |
Inactive on this day |
Snapshot for that day. |
All users (billable) |
Everyone counted for billing on that day — typically active plus inactive (does not include removed accounts). |
Exact wording on screen follows your language and product labels.
User detail table
- Columns typically include row number , username , status , and who made the change (when shown).
- Show only this period changes — same idea as on the Clients tab.
- Export — spreadsheet of the filtered rows.
Focus date
The line that shows Date is the day currently selected in the chart (often the most recent closed day when the page first opens, or the day you clicked). When the date changes, the dashboard loads the detail list for that day.
When no data appears
If you see a message that no data is available for this view, your center may not have usage history in the selected range yet, or your account settings may limit which months are listed. Contact support if you expect data to be there.
Practical tips
- Use the period arrows to compare one month to another after roster changes.
- On Clients , turn on Show archived when you need to reconcile removals with the chart.
- On Users , watch inactive bars and the orange line to see how inactive accounts trend through the month.
- Export before audits; the file reflects the selected card and show only changes setting.
